5. Data Storage and Retention
WA-Connect may store data temporarily to support processing, delivery confirmation, debugging, fraud prevention, and system integrity.
- Message content may be stored for the minimum time needed for delivery, retries, and status tracking.
- Metadata and logs may be retained longer to meet compliance, auditing, security, and operational needs.
- Where applicable, deletion requests will be handled in accordance with Brazilian law (LGPD) and platform constraints.
6. Data Sharing
We share data only when necessary to operate the service, including with:
- Meta Platforms, Inc. / WhatsApp Business Platform for message delivery and platform operations.
- Infrastructure providers used to host and operate WA-Connect (e.g., hosting, databases, monitoring).
We do not share data with third parties for advertising or unrelated commercial purposes.
7. Security Measures
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, such as:
- Access controls and least-privilege permissions
- Secure infrastructure and network protections
